LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment and Axel Braun picked up major honors once again at the XRCO Awards ceremony.
Braun added another trophy to his extensive collection by winning Best Director/Parody for the third year in a row.
The Best Parody/Comedy award went to “Star Wars XXX” while Best Parody/Comic Book was given to “Superman Vs Spider-Man XXX.”
“This is total awesomeness,” Braun said.
“Keeping up the level of quality that we have established with these parodies is not an easy task, and I have to thank Eli Cross and my incredible crew for all their hard work and support. Every movie we make is truly a labor of love, and I’m just lucky to receive accolades for doing something that I enjoy so much.”
This is the first award for “Superman vs. Spider-Man XXX,” Braun’s big-budget spoof of the 1976 cult classic crossover comic.
